Morgan Freeman has to tackle in the new movie Ben-Hur, a role knows Deadline. The 77-year-old actor takes on the role of Ildarin, the man who Judah Ben-Hur trains in the chariot races.
The new film is mainly based on the original book from 1880, Ben- Hur: A Tale Of The Christ, instead of the 1959 film which starred Charlton Heston. 12 Years A Slave-writer John Ridley worked on the script. Who will play in the new film adaptation Judah Ben-Hur is not yet known.
Ben-Hur should run in February 2016 in cinemas. Freeman recently signed for the movie Ted 2.
