The Hague writers Remco Campert Marente and the Moor are nominated for the AKO Literature.
Campert a chance to win the prestigious award with his book “Hotel du Nord”. The Moor is nominated for her book ‘Roundhay’ garden scene. A total of 25 books nominated for a major literary awards in the Netherlands. The list will be reduced to a maximum of six nominees on 26 September. On November 13, the winner will be announced during the Crossing Border Festival in The Hague.
The author of the winning book will receive 50,000 euros and a picture of Eugene Peters. Last year the award went to the Hague writer Joke van Leeuwen for her book ‘Feast of the beginning. “
