Willeke Alberti celebrates on 2 and 3 February with two unique concerts her seventieth birthday, her 60th anniversary as an artist and the thirtieth anniversary of her father and inspirer, Willy Alberti Royal Theatre Carré.
“I can not tell anything about it, but it will be great nights’ says the singer. “It is a very personal musical journey that I want to celebrate life with many friends and memories to pick up my long career. Of course it’s a very big role for my father. Without him I’d probably never end up in this box. ‘
Ticket sales started this week. A large portion of the proceeds from the gala performance goes to Willeke Alberti Foundation, which organizes cultural activities for sick children, seniors and the disabled.
